At the meeting, Mr. Wen Peng, Chairman of SRON, said, as the ancient saying goes, "When the granaries are full, the world is at peace." Since ancient times, food has been the foundation of a secure world, and food security is "the most important thing in the country". As an EPC general contractor focusing on grain and other bulk material storage and transportation system engineering projects, SRON is well aware of the important responsibility and mission of the enterprise. For more than ten years, the company has been deeply engaged in grain storage and transportation system projects, helping to reduce losses in grain storage and transportation and the construction of food security system. Over the years, with its own technical advantages and excellent project quality, SRON has contracted projects in more than 40 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, South America, etc., which are highly praised by customers at home and abroad.
According to the past project experience of SRON, the loss of grain storage and transportation is the most serious in Africa, the loss rate is up to 30% or more, among which, the backward storage and transportation technology and storage and transportation equipment are the key factors that cause the grain loss. However, this kind of loss can be completely avoided through technology and means, if the government can make forward-looking planning, the annual loss of 30% of the funds advanced for the improvement of food storage infrastructure, for most of the African countries after 5-10 years, the country's food storage facilities will have a qualitative leap, the rate of food loss will be reduced by more than 60%. This means not only covering the initial investment and bringing sustained income to the country, but also improving the quality of food and making the nation healthier. In the face of the world's food loss problem, SRON has the ability and willingness to provide relevant countries with overall planning and solutions, contributing to the global realization of food loss, eliminating global hunger, guaranteeing food security, and providing professional support for the improvement of the efficiency of grain storage in the countries along the "Belt and Road".
